Based on data from the U.S. Census 2010, the U.S. population exceeded 314 million, of which approximately 70% comprised of white Caucasians. While Hispanics surpassed African-Americans and became the second largest segment in the country, the Asian segment demonstrated the highest rate of growth in both population and household income among all other races.
