Lawrence Yeung, Founder and President of 361° Consulting, began his marketing career at Wieden & Kennedy in Portland, Oregon. While working at one of the most cutting-edge advertising agencies in the world, he recognized the importance of utilizing consumer insights to develop advertisements that were not only remarkably creative, but also emotionally connected with the audience.
In due course, Lawrence joined the research and strategic planning team at several multicultural advertising agencies and held the positions of Senior Strategic Planner at Kang & Lee Advertising (a division of Young & Rubicam) and VP of Strategic Planning and Research at IW Group (a subsidiary of Interpublic Group) respectively.
Lawrence was born in Mainland China, raised in Hong Kong, and earned his marketing degree from the University of Southern California under full scholarship. He is proficient in English and three Chinese dialects.
